Greetings FIENDS,
We hope you all had a great weekend! Over the next 2 days, we'll be distributing backer surveys for the Lady Gunfighter: Desolation Kickstarter! Here are the important details:
- Today (7/29/2024), we will be distributing our "Smoke Test" surveys in BackerKit, where 5% of the campaign's backers will be chosen at random to receive a backer survey. The purpose of this Smoke Test is to make sure everything is running smoothly and to address any potential setup problems before we send out the rest of the surveys.
- Tomorrow (7/30/2024), we will distribute the remaining 95% of surveys to backers. We'll be checking back in with you all in once this occurs.
WERE YOU DROPPED BY KICKSTARTER?
If Kickstarter dropped your pledge for nonpayment after the campaign closed, worry not! You will still receive a backer survey either today or tomorrow and a balance due will appear that you can pay with a credit/debit card or with PayPal.
Please note that if your dropped pledge contained any Kickstarter add-ons, those add-ons may have gotten cleared off your order prior to your backer survey being distributed. We are working with BackerKit to get everyone's original add-on data imported back in and hopefully this will not affect any of you.
SURVEY LOCKDOWN & PAYMENTS
We will be locking down completed backer survey responses on Friday, August 9 at 5:00PM PDT (8:00PM EDT). We will also be billing cards for any add-ons purchased in BackerKit and any balances due at this time. Once your survey is locked down, you will no longer be able to make changes to your order!
Please note that if you use PayPal as your payment method for purchasing add-ons or for paying for a balance due, you will be charged at the time of the transaction.
DID YOU MISS THE DESOLATION KICKSTARTER?
If you missed the Desolation Kickstarter campaign, we will be offering remaining inventory in our Last-Chance Pop-Up Crypt in BackerKit starting tomorrow (7/30/2024)! We'll provide the link to this store tomorrow once it's live!
IMPORTANT NOTE TO "LATE PLEDGE" BACKERS
Since Late Pledging is a new feature in Kickstarter, BackerKit is still catching up to the changes. If you backed the Desolation campaign during its Late Pledge phase (Friday, July 12 through Friday, July 26), please note:
If you purchased any add-ons with your late pledge backing, you'll need to RE-ADD those add-ons in BackerKit using the credit that's available on your survey. We apologize for any inconvenience!
REMINDER REGARDING CGC GRADING
Due to capacity, Coffin Comics discontinued offering CGC grading and slabbing services back in 2022. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.
If you do intend on later getting your books graded with the CGC Signature Series service, we strongly suggest choosing UNSIGNED copies during your backer survey so that you can later get your books signed in the presence of a CGC witness at a show or signing event.
